Swimmin'
We went swimmin' with Linnea yesterday. She can't swim yet but was an absolutely speed demon going down the water slide. She'd scream (happily) on the way up the stairs, go, "Yayyay woo!" at the top, and held her arms out to the sides and scream and laugh on the way down. Didn't mind the dunking at the bottom at all and came up sputtering and saying, "Momomo! [more]". I on the other hand minded the dunking quite I lot because I was paying so much attention to her that I kept forgetting to blow out at the right moment and got a lot of water up my nose :( This is definitely another one of those activities where the adult:child ratio needs to be at least 2:1.
Mark actually decided he would take her so from 5 pm we had the night to ourselves! We cooked dinner, drank wine, watched a video, got dressed up and went out. There was much silliness and perhaps one drink too many.
