bits and bats

Internet was dead last night, which explains my lack of presence and tweets.

Also, I am such a fruit whore. I remember my days as a cashier when it seemed the only stuff I saw was junk food. Natch, she only saw meat and fruits/veggies with me muah. Did I say I love food? Natural sugars ftw. If I become diabetic you'll know why ;) Speaking of, this weekend I went on a rampage and threw out way past-due stuff in our pantry. Stuff from like the 80's? I know it's supposed to last a while but... not that long. It smelled. Also threw out some plastic containers mum's been bent on collecting (you never know when you're gonna need one!). Didn't throw them ALL out, but we're three so I kept three of each. No lie, we had something like TWENTY peanut butter jars. No effing WONDER our tupperware cupboards are near to bursting.

I did not write a word. Watched tv, though I couldn't tell you what exactly. It was dull, that much I know. But I can't wait till the fics are revealed at gossipink. If you haven't voted for your favourites, by the way, now's the time. Polls close later today.

My parents are coming home Thursday. I need to clean-clean-clean. Emptied the dishwasher, which I've been slowly emptying with every meal (what, I never said I wasn't lazy). Now I can start filling it. I need to vacuum. Started cleaning my desk last night. Felt good. I also realise I should get rid of some clothes. Last year's trip to the Salvation Army was very fulfilling. Though heavy. Ahem. But yes, my parents' yearly trips are a reason to do some stuff my mother would never allow me to do otherwise. I swear, she's always like "keep it, you never know when you'll wear it!" Um, never. Some fashion "statements" of my teenage years may never be revisited, period.

Harry Potter: it's a crying shame I don't feel quite as bouncy as I usually do 'round movie(/book) releases. I mean, I do want to see it very very much, but I'm not itching to see it nownownow asap come hell or high water (it's supposed to be hot and sunny but you never know with these shitty weather mood swings), y'know? Though I dunno, my super fangirlishness might make a comeback after I see it *shrug*

And finally, bonne Fête Nationale, ancholia! :D Amuse-toi bien!
