Heeeey, it's actually Taylor Hanson's birthday today (thanks unravelingsky for reminding me because, as always, I'm way out of the loop when it comes to my supposedly "will wuv 4ever" band, ahem). Happy 2-6. I still remember when Amy was madly in love with you and forced me to listen to you guys and I thought you were a girl (still think you sound like a girl actually haha). Zac's been my man through and through since the beginning :) I mean, how can you not love a kid guy MAN who bangs on things and is the funniest thing ever? Although (and I didn't use to care but since the Underneath 'do (right) I've been like "umm, yes plz") I'd really appreciate it if he cut his hair again. I know, SHOCKING. Here I've been a fan of a band whose members' (unspoken) signature is their long hair, and when they all go chop-chop I'm like fangirl x 10. Unreal. Baffling. Oh well. Message to Zac: I don't care what your wife says, short looks real good on you.
Anyway. All that to reiterate what I told unravelingsky. Hope Tay's new band excuse me, SIDE PROJECT does okay, but I'm really not putting any money into Tinted Windows' success because I... didn't like what I saw. Aside from the stick-up-his-ass host and the cheesy 80's video effects, the whole thing was bland, and the music was a step back into the bubblegum wrapper that Tay and his brothers have been struggling to break out of. Hi, Tay, way to make a non-point *rolls eyes*
Judo was okay. I hadn't done any kata in a while so it was hard getting back on track. Not to mention we did the last set which I find is the toughest. Funny how I overuse leg techniques in randoris but absolutely LOATHE them otherwise. Hi, my tsukui nage (favourite technique) is hane goshi (pic if you like). Hip throw ftw!
