Huh. I subscribe to several design RSS's. Don't always keep up, but I try. Here are 192 clever ads from around the world. Gems, I say. The one with the plastic lungs and cigarettes is especially noteworthy, IMHO.
I had to throw out a whole package of goat's cheese this morning because my dad left it on the table last night. Meep! A very sad moment indeed.
In light of the Olympics starting soon,
Psychedelic! I like it but haha type treatment was intended to turn one blind in the 60's/70's lol
I... honestly don't get it. Very minimalistic and oooh whitespace (!) but I don't get thrilled (in retrospect) when I look at it. Okay, so you've got the Olympics rings and you've got some fade-out treatment. Cool. Does it represent Montreal? Not nearly. They could have included the Olympic Stadium somewhere in it; it was built especially for the '76 Olympics. But they probably didn't want to seem perverted.
My favourite is probably the Moscow one:
♥ the colours, and the arrangement ♥ Again, minimalistic, but at least you get a feel for the host.
And I kind of have a soft spot for Athens 2004 :D
I dunno what to think of the Beijing 2008 one, though :s so I won't comment.

But speaking of, I played in Photoshop last night! First time in... well, a year, more or less. T'was fun.
