So my folks are back... folk music ensues
My parents came back today from a one-week vacation in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine. As expected, much reminiscing abounded, and we ate lobsters in the Madelinois way (i.e. eating it whole instead of in halves) as well as listened to much folk music of the region. I just couldn't help but laugh at the "remixed" oldies. Disco folk, anyone? *gigglesnort* And the guy also sings "Achy Breaky Heart" LMAO oh maaaan... Much giggling ensued, and my dad and me tried to dance the western line dance and couldn't remember if it was a kick or a swoosh. In any case I've always been super sucky at any line dance.
It's my eldest sister Jo's birthday tomorrow. The card is... not done. Must work on that the rest of this night. But ooooh, the champagne and wine were nice... :) Am sleepy...
