layout numéro god-knows-what

I'm baaaack! With a new layout idea! This one I really like, and I decided halfway through to forgo (sp?) the squiggly and traditional art-ish concept because, huh, didn't really match. Only thing I'm keeping is my handwriting that I'm going to use as link images. Neat? Niiiice.

(Can you find the one link that was made with the pencil tool in Illustrator? lol)

The background's lighter, which I found to be a huge drawback (to me - I know some people favour dark backgrounds and that's fine, but it's just not my preference. Or, if it's dark, I like to have the text boxed into a lighter shade), and the top is much fresher, I think, and less clumped together (again, on a dark background - I didn't really like that).

I'll be having different pages for the different sections obviously, unlike the previous idea where I would have clumped all the text and portfolio pieces on one page. Not my thang.

Plus, it doesn't look like anything I've seen before. The previous one looked a lot like Dale Harris's and I kept thinking "Gosh, can't have something looking even the teeniest bit like someone else's".

So. That's that! :D See ya later!

eta Ooooh, ooooh! And I'm keeping my baroque motif for my logo! I've used it once and I don't think I'll ever let it go :D :D :D
