My Step-son is a prick
Yesterday I had the day scheduled off so I could have time with my son and daughter before school started tomorrow. Instead I had to spend the entire day doing damage control for my lazy step-son who failed his summer English course and now has decided to change majors.
He took a summer English course because he failed it during the spring semester. I saw and reviewed the first two papers for the class. Last week I learned that he had not turned in anything else. He claimed it didn't go through, but he has no logs showing he attempted to e-mail anything and no backups of the papers themselves. I checked all the logs on his computer and mine. He made some claim that he had to re-format his flash drive to use it on his dad's computer. I've spoken to our IT here and they gave me the same confused look I gave him. No-one has heard of needing to reformat a flash drive. Fact is he lied and is making up shit to cover his tracks. Needless to say my wife feels we should give him the benefit of the doubt and let it go. (I have no doubt what so ever.)
Also, he worked over the summer to earn some money for school. I asked how much he had in the bank and found out he spent everything except $300.00. WTF!?! What happened to the roughly $2000 he should have earned?
I've had it. I'm putting things together and getting the hell out of this worthless marriage as soon as the youngest turns 11 (1.5 years). I've just opened a new checking account and I'm starting to move things around so I protect as much as possible. It's obvious that my wife will bankrupt us to try and provide for that step-son of mine, but not see that he won't work for anything as long as mommy will give it to him.
