i've been away for a while..

Well, not really away, since I've checked the friends page and everything, but I haven't written in a while. I discovered Nerd Fitness the other day (want to lose weight? want to gain weight? want to get strong? go there. Best support community I've ever seen when it comes to fitness) and I just started a six-week challenge in which I committed to not eat fast food, eat vegetables and drink lots of water, not miss any classes (at college or Pilates), not procrastinate at work, and memorize the Japanese syllabaries again.

There's still time to join the challenge if anyone is interested. Just Google Nerd Fitness and find the holy grail.

I'm getting pretty serious about this losing weight thing, and in the past few weeks I lost some (just a little, but enough to encourage me). Did I say i used to do gymnastics at school? I'm really looking forward to mastering my body again. I know it's a long term thing, but I really want this.

In other news, our dogs (and house, apparently) have been infested by ticks. I don't know what to do! Anyone has a tip to give me?
