111 days to victory

Got up and did cardio this morning.  Have to say, it's quite convenient to have a treadmill just downstairs.  It's not even really scary considering it's in the basement - our basement is full of rooms, and it's not dark, though it is cold, so it just feels like I'm going downstairs.

Did 30 minutes, just walking.  I can't seem to get up to jogging that early in the morning.  4 am is too freakin' early to get up, but it is hardcore, and that's what we're going for here.  I'll do more cardio tonight when I get home.  I'm looking forward to school being out - I can hit the gym every day.  If I'm REALLY dedicated, I can get up early, do cardio, then lift weights after I get off work.

Since Chris and I have the last two weeks of the year off (yay Christmas vacation!), I know we'll hit the gym every day, and probably twice a day on some days.  And we'll be really strict on our diet, since we won't be going out to dinner.  Maybe I'll actually shed some weight on vacation!

Still need to take initial pictures.  I haven't weighed myself since Sunday - I think I'll make it a weekly thing, instead of a daily thing.  It's more accurate that way, and I'm not obsessing over the scale each morning.

Broke down and got a Coke Zero.  I just needed something other than water.  Probably should have gone with a regular Coke - real sugar, instead of this aspartame crap, but habit - I go for Coke Zero more now than regular Coke.  No calories!

But it's a step.  I've stuck completely to my plan for today (with the exception of the Clif Bar, but that's not so bad) - no chips with lunch, no candy, nothing.  Cardio this morning and cardio this evening will even things out.  In about an hour, I'll have my light cheese and carrots, and will nosh down a handful of almonds before cardio tonight.  Chicken and rice for dinner, babeee!
