Lightning!
I forgot to mention the two lightning storms we drove through. So pretty!! :p
And we also passed a cloud that looked like a reclining woman with a book in hand, a rock formation that looked like a nekkid man gripping his genitals in embarassment, and a rock formation that looked like Jabba the Hut. And for the record, Dianne pointed out the naked man rock.
The sunset was amazing too. And we took a three hour detour through some very old towns because we accidentally got on the "historic" route of the freeway rather than the currently used more pragmatic freeway. Of course, they're the same freeway, one's just called the historic route and wound through the mountains and forests instead of taking a direct route. Oy. o_O
Pretty though, and we didn't really lose a lot of time. It was fun. We had a good trip. :)
