Weekend Update
So, Friday's D&D game was cancelled. But Yaniv made us plans to go hang out at Wes' and watch movies. LOL So he came down on BART and my dad dropped us in Fremont so Wes could pick us up. We watched Goldfish Memory. Very funny. I forgot to mention when I was describing it that it's an Irish movie. LOL I need to track down a copy for myself now. It was fun. Not amazing, but fun.
Then we watched some Samurai Champloon (I think I spelled that right, I'm running off phonetics cause I don't think I've seen it spelt yet) and passed out for a couple hours. Wes dropped us at Fremont BART before going to work. So I got to work a bit early.
I'm so tired!! Oh well. As an old friend says, I'll sleep enough when I'm dead. :p
DHP (Disaster House Party) is tonight, in Fremont. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll find you directions.
JustNate decided he wanted to go, and Yaniv expressed an interest as well as protectorate (yes, dellastella, you're invited too), so we'll all be there. JustNate is picking me up from work, and I think Yaniv is meeting me there beforehand. I'll probably just crash at JustNate's afterward, since he's going to teach me to drive a stickshift before/after work Sunday, and will take me to work and pick me up in the interrum.
Yep, now that my car and my dad's truck are both dead, the only vehicle that I can borrow is the Pinto. And it's a stickshift. Great. Well, I've always meant to learn to drive one of them damn things anyway. ~_~;;; My problem is I always stall them out. I don't have as much of a problem with the stick as I do the third petal. I just never seemed to be able to get it down right. Not for stopping and starting, anyway. I do okay on freeway, I think, but tend to stall at stop lights/signs. o_O; Oh well. Here's hoping I don't kill the last car!!
Anyhoo, at work. Should probably go do something vaguely useful...
Oh yeah, NIN tickets go on sale tomorrow. I wish I could go... *pout*
