Busy busy busy
Wound up keeping pretty busy since Thursday, all with a certain someone who can't decide if she's cranky with me or not. I'm amused, but I'm not sure anyone else is! ^_~
We hung out with kizmet100 and sepher drinking Bloody Murders and blackberry wine while playing Pictionary last night. It was hysterical fun.
I swear my mother has been replaced by pod people or something. The pair of us were at my house goofing off and colouring her hair, and my mom knocked on the bedroom door and apparently didn't want to open it because she "didn't know what we were doing in there and didn't want to interrupt" which was followed by her telling me that she can sleep over some times just not all the time. Broken!! I know she doesn't know I'm into girls, but things like that make me wonder... *facepalm*
abditus had his fondue bday party, at which I made an appearance. It was much fun and I wish I could've stayed for the chocolate fondue and other assorted funness. Ah well. Hopefully next year! Then someone had a hockey game, where they were very sadly slaughtered by the opposition. Apparently no one bothered to tell the team that they were actually on the ice to play and not skate around like dumbasses. *sarcasm* Ah well. They'd been kicking ass the past couple games, so hopefully they were just having an off day...
Thinking about museum plans in the next week or two. Haven't yet pinned down when in November we're doing the Disneyland trip, but since it's getting closer we'll probably figure that out soon. We've also decided on camping in November as well, so we have to decide what weekend will work best for that and try to coordinate schedules and gear appropriately. And at some point, probably early January, I'll need to pick up some winter gear for the ski trip in February. Someone's sister insists I come to her Halloween party this year. I'm thinking of going to the fairy party. And Kim has her annual pumpkin carving party that I always attend. Not to mention Halloween Gaskells! And I have been told I'm invited to someone's family Xmas stuff this year. Phew! Busy busy monkey! Think there are enough money sucking endeavours up-and-coming? Good thing I'll be working!! LOL
Anyhoo... It's either really late or really early, and either way I should really be getting to bed. Need to get some sleep, after all! Especially since someone is sure to call either around 4:30 when she's on her way to work today, or between 9-10 when she takes a lunch break, and I really should be coherent for those conversations, given their content of late. :p
