No rest for the wicked...
Long day at work today, but we have been flying through the training books. We're 3/4 of the way through week one, and it's only Tuesday! We expect to be done with week two by the beginning of next week at the latest. Which means we are ahead of schedule by, like, a lot. Go us! We're up to the Specialty books at this point, so I'm basically teaching the other two how things go in my department. LOL
Funny side-note- I picked up a copy of The Wild Wood by Charles de Lint from the Milpitas Borders just before leaving for training. In the back flap, I found a business card for stoic_rose's cousin Eric from when he still worked for Blizzard. ROTFL How funny is that? Very random. I was amused.
We're going to Outback for dinner tonight. Terri's never been. We hope we can get a table since they wouldn't let us make a reservation and it IS Valentine's Day... And Chris is gonna come up on Thursday and work on Terri and I's backs, which is good cause we could use the adjustment!
There's a really cool macaw at this store. I want to pull him out and play` with him, but don't know what their rules are about that. I can't wait to get my store opened so I can order in a really cool bird to play with!! XD
