I less than three bourbon

Jul 31, 2007 22:04

So, being from where I'm from, I have to have an appreciation of good ol' Kentucky bourbon whiskey. Normally, I go for Makers Mark, quality stuff. But at Meijer, they had this stuff for considerably cheaper and I figured I'd give it a try. It's pretty good, I'll have to admit. I forget the name of it, and I'm too lazy to go to the kitchen and see what the label thinks it is called. But I'm drinking it right now (and feeling it pretty well too). ANYWAY.

My pet Canadian had a pretty awful outing tonight, I'll have to admit. Despite that, he only allowed two runs, and here in the top of the 9th, it looks like we'll still end up winning... unless our bullpen sucks it up in a typical Baltimore fashion.

The GFS is really starting to piss me off. Fortunately it is currently keeping the forecast for the wedding pretty dry, but hot. Like around 90 degrees hot. And thats in Indiana, which means it will also be humid like a fothermucker. (Side note: Firefox has motherfucker in the dictionary.) Of course, this is still pretty far out, and we all know how reliable the GFS is beyond 3 hours. Still, given the choice between hot and rainy, I'll go with hot.

We are currently at 99 people who've said "yup, we're coming!" That number will probably increase a bit as the mothers harass people who haven't replied. Which is cool. We'll probably end up with about 110, which is less than the 138 we invited, which means the food and tables will be a bit under budget (hooray!). For those of you who weren't invited, please don't feel like I hate you. I don't. At least not more than I hate everyone. But we can only invite so many people. We still love you, I promise. I am a bit bummed that I won't have any of my grandparents there. Both of Dad's parents died years ago. Mom's dad had a stroke last year, and we won't be able to make the trip up from Florida. Mom's mom won't be able to make the trip up either. Also, I won't get to meet my cousins (Bill and Kathy's kids), because only Bill will be coming. I understand, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Maybe next summer, Angie and I will make a trip to Florida to see Bill and Kathy and Grandpa and sand.

Angie got contacts. She probably won't tell you that, so I will. Now we can both put our eyes in and take them out every morning. Woohoo! Speaking of which, mine are starting to feel a little dry, I should probably take them out soon. The game is almost over, though so I can wait. Joe Angel just said that Doyne is warming up. So help me, if Trembley puts Doyne in I will do things that we'll all regret. Doyne sucks worse than Daniel Cabrera, which says a lot.

Okay, I reckon that about does it. Later, gator.
