If you haven't watched V for Vandetta, go watch it now!!! It was a great movie with no plot holes, that kept my attention the whole time*and thats a rare occurance*
The movie was based from the graphic novel , written in England in the 80's...Im totally going to buy the novel to see what was excluded from the movie.
The novel was inspired by a true story that occured in 1605. A man name guy faux was a member of a rebellion against english parliment, they believed that they should be allowed to worship as they chose *they were catholic and the queen at this time was protestant, therefore pursecuting them* So they stock piled alot of explosives in a foiled attempt to blow up parliment. All the members were tortured , hung, and quartered for there beliefs, and to this day on NOV. the 5th a fireworks display is launched in england. The story is set in futuristic england were a new aged vigilante takes the giuse of faux in a pursuit to throw over the new controlling gov. of england.
