Update - misc stuff
So here's an update on what's going on with me...
- Been a busy week. Tuesday, Doris and I went to the county clerk's office to pick up our civil union paperwork. I have mixed feelings about it; it's so 'back of the bus' compared to what we could get if we were able to get married. But at least we're on the bus. Anyway, the process of getting the paperwork was fairly easy.
- Wednesday I flew to a great, historic city for a class for work. I am not even going to name the city because I saw nothing but the hotel or the airport. However, the class was great. We have a LGBT Career Development Class - a class that is designed specifically to help our LGBT employees manage their careers. This was my second time taking it. Now I can facilitate it in the future, which I look forward to doing.
- I never eat too healthy (healthfully?) when I travel. And when the weather turns cold, I tend to get hungry. The good news is that I've been exercising diligently - six days a week - as always. Bad news is that my pants are tight and I know it's because I've been eating too much. I am resolving to get better about this starting now!
- And in fandom news....there's been steady activity on azazel_riptide with a lot of fanart posted, and someone posted a comic-extra that's on the Blu Ray. I haven't seen it yet (need to wait till I'm home from work) but they said there's some AzRi interaction - yes! The weird thing is that I haven't written any AzRi fic for nearly two weeks now. The multi-chaptered fic that I'm posting gradually, I finished up a few weeks ago. I think two weeks is the longest I've gone without writing any AzRi fic since June. After having written countless ones, has that flame burned out or am I just taking a break? I suspect I have at least 1 more in me.
