Terry and I are moving more stuff today. The new place is starting to look like a furnished home, the old place like a ghost town where someone might squat. But that's what it has been, after all. A hideout, not a real home.

Today the cats get moved. They will enjoy their new Domain, the basement, where they can have little pieces of furniture to sit upon (boxes and shelves in other words), their litter box can be privately located (no annoying humans), and we don't have to suffer the mess from their litter and food (sweep it up once a week and ignore it the rest of the time). Not to mention, when we eat now, they can be locked away in their dungeon. Same thing if we wanna bust out the GI Joes in three or four rooms of the house! Terry keeps trying to get me to keep the GI Joes, and I think he has an itch to play. He musta been a cute kid. aww. But he can't hope to face the wrath of my customized Dreadnoks!

The sewing machine is on hold due to the new furniture, but I think we'll enjoy the furniture more. I still need to make my Green Lantern costume though, I think about it every day, and being able to sport it proudly is gonna be a REALLy good incentive for a little dieting. So is living next to Alex, who was making the BEST smelling stuffed vegetarian bell peppers the other day when we were over.

Legends of Darkness - our Dark Ages Vampire LARP in Cleveland - is going remarkably well. The player base keeps growing, everyone gets along well, there's no cheating, and the combat system we presented to the players after the st/narrator meeting is working well. It's SO worth traveling for, especially now that we're in Brian's owbn Werewolf game right before it.
