I am terrible at updating this. The random snippets from here and there in my oh-so-interesting life make this journal pretty schizophrenic. Not an excuse, just a warning. ;)

Hey Elizabeth, call me stalker, but

1. GARTH NIX IS A WRITING GOD (well, okay, not really, but I do love his Abhorsen trilogy. My college essay was written on how the first book of this trilogy opened me up to a whole new genre of reading. It was supposed to be this beautiful essay on what art is to me, but I got lazy. DON'T BE LAZY.)

Woop woop I don't feel so stupid for thinking steampunk now. And the Abhorsen trilogy is absolutely fantastic, I've read Lirael like... 6 times. Did you know there's another one coming out in 2010-ish?! It's about Chlorr of the Mask. I'm pretty psyched.

Also, I'm sure I'm as much/more of an internet stalker than you are, so no worries. :D

There's another Abhorsen book coming out? That's wonderful! I've been wondering what he's been working on, since I think the Keys to the Kingdom series has finished, hasn't it? I lost interest in that one, but I have Sabriel memorized because I've read it so many times.
