All of the Libertarians I have met in my life (that's just me) have been white, middle-class men, with decent educations, who have never needed and imagine (foolishly) never needing a social service provided by the state. My Libertarian ex-husband is currently applying for federal disability benefits. He once explained to me, in all seriousness, that if the government would just get out of the way, companies would sell health insurance for poor children that their families can afford.
