And you think, "Damn, I'm about to edit a book (in which my essay will also be published)!" And that's not bad at all.
Everybody do the Happy Dance. Some of you have seen me do this. Some of you were at my graduation or other moments of triumph. You know, stand up, bend your knees 30 degrees, bend your elbows 90 degrees, lightly ball your fists, wiggle your butt side to side in a semi-twist motion, raise hands to wave over head. Now you feel about as good as I do.
(And, yes, I am actually getting writing done today. It seems to create a good deal of spill-over to the LJ, however.)
