it was just so unexpected! It's one of those show that i feel like no one else watched, and then i see these icons!

yeah, it's a lesser known fandom, though you find tons of people who actually used to watch it when it was still on. *sighs* I <3 Alan Davies (thanks to Jonathan Creek, before I've seen the show I thought Alan is a weirdo, lol, now I love him to death). I still hope for a Christmas special ^^; Maybe next year *crosses fingers*

it was just such a clever show. Like that one time, where this guy dissapeared trying to disprove some old legend (there was this old tower {i think it was a tower}, where people lying down chained in a certain spot were supposedly "sent to hell"), and Jonathan discovered that he'd actually been squashed because the drawbridge of the castle was connected to this thing inside the tower. So awesome*.

oooo, a Christmas special would be fantastic! *also crosses fingers*

waaaaaah spoiler xD haven't seen that episode yet ^^ lol I stopped watching after s3 (meeeeeh, Caroline Quentin aka Maddy left the show :/). I will watch Satan's Chimney and s4 sometime later...when my dvd box has arrived ^^

Let's hope the creator of the show decides to write another script. It's all up to him, because he won't let anyone else write for the show :/

I wonder if Alan would do another series (or special) of Jonathan Creek anyway. Since the second sidekick, played by Julia Sawalha, wasn't that popular (and since Alan and she have broken up, I'm not sure if they're still on good terms ^^), and I'm not sure if Caroline Quentin would want to be in it either. I really really love(d) Jonathan/Maddy.

i know, i never really liked the second girl either. I mean, she was nice but ... i don't know, i just liked Caoline's character more (plus, my nickname's Maddie! So close!). Plus, Alan and Caroline are both doing different shows now, aren't they? So that might discourage them. *hopes the do another series/special anyway*

I really liked Maddy's humour. She had the best one liners on the show IMO. Alan has enough time to do another series/special, I'm sure. I mean he's a regular on QI, but that's about it. He does a few guest appearances on shows, though (like Hotel Babylon and the latest Marple series). And he will be in a movie. But that's it I believe...lol I'm a fangirl, I know ^^; Not sure about Caroline. But I'm sure they can squeeze in a 1 1/2 hours Christmas special if they want to *g*

lol, yeah. I think her and Alan had better chemistry too. Huzzah for Alan fangirling! Man, i had such a TTLY SEKRIT!CRUSH on him when the show was on (actually, i still think he's rather adorable *giggles*). I think Caroline in this other show called 'Life Begins' (it's one of the few shows my mother actually likes too, which is good). But that shouldnt stop either of them from doing one teeny tiny special, now should it?

It's funny that he had less chemistry with his (ex) girlfriend on screen than with "some" actress xD My crush on Alan is not-so-secret since I've became a Jonathan Creek fan. It hit me with full force xD he's the most tagged person in my journal at the moment, and I'm only into him since two weeks or so xD This says all I guess.

oh what is it about? Must download. I love her, she's really awesome in JC.

lol, yeah. But how can you watch Jonathan Creek and not get a crush on him?!

it's about a middle-aged housewife, who's husband suddernly leaves her, and she has to get a job, look after her two kids on her own etc (not as depressing as it sounds). It's quite funny. And it all turns out allright for her!
