yay, History Boys fanmix. Dakin/Irwin OTP!!! They break my heart every time I see the movie/read the play. The fanmix might not be perfect, but I think the songs still fit. The first half is rather uplifting, the second half deals with the break up. Most of the songs are uptempo. I hope you guys enjoy!

I like the middle part of the song, and I interpret it that way that Irwin knew since the start that a relationship with Dakin won't stand a chance, that there always will be barring accidents which will keep them apart, it's the cynical pessimist in him who's afraid of clichés
