(no subject)
so... long time no post.
I think I've mostly been distracted by pictures of adorable animals. And possibly a little bit of Newo. :/
Anyway. Life's been good for the most part. I'm not sick anymore. Some of that was due to antibiotic, though it didn't make the cough go away right away, just the ucky mucus.
I had a piano recital today. Considering I really barely practiced while at school, it went really well. My piano teacher said it was "effective." Considering it's essentially a horror song, I'll say so.
Following the trend of a few of my lj friends, I'm trying to knit. It was because I went to The Twist the other day with Shiro, and had yarn-envy. I figured I'll try with cheaper yarn first. I used to know how... I knitted a nematode back in third grade, after all.... (it then became part of the collection of finger puppets for several years). I have a lot of projects to finish lately, though.
I made bread. I actually started the dough yesterday and baked it today. I'd feel guilty about it, but the yeast was mostly dead, so I don't think it did much harm. The bread's still rather bad, but it was my first bread without a recipe! Wheeeeeeeee................
I want to go to my mom's work. I want to do a lot of things. I think some of them actually interfere...
but it would be totally awesome! I'd go, sit on her totally futuristic floor with my laptop and knitting for a few hours, and then we'd go to lunch, and then we'd come back and I'd sit on her floor some more. Man, I'm ambitious.
Oh well, enough rambling.
