Haiti.

Okay, I just remembered this from last night and it is by no means a nice thing to do, and we laughed because of the sheer oddness and horrible-ness of it.

For D&D, and please don't stop here all of you that don't know a thing about the game or don't like it because I'll explain, there's deck called the Deck of Many Things. It's an object that players can find in the game and choose to draw cards. Each card can force something onto reality that is either horrible or greatly benefits the player's character INSIDE the game. So let's say, my character choosing to draw one card gets the 'Moon' card which grants three wishes. The character can than affect the game with her three wishes, like asking for gratuitous amounts of money and you all know the rest. Or I can draw the 'Idiot' card which means my character will lose all intelligence points for the rest of the game so my character is rendered a retard until the leader of the game says his or her game is done. But IRL, Mike and I found a real Deck of Many Things. We bought it so we could spice up our D&D campaigns so that if the players actually find a deck, IRL they can actually choose their cards after the deck has been properly shuffled. It's like using a CD for mood music or... something of the sort.

Anyway, so last night Fuzz was playing with the Deck in front of the computer. We were watching a show on Hulu and a commercial came on for Haiti. I asked Fuzz to draw a card for Haiti out of whim. I was being cheeky. He drew the card 'Ruin' which has a picture of a tower crumbling to...well, ruin. 'Ruin' means that you lose all wealth and property. Totally an accident that he drew it, horrible accident considering their plight. We still laughed.
