Stopping by to note that I have read part two by Stephenie Meyer, in english called "New Moon". Still Gary Stu all the way, and he even gets his Mary Sue at the end. But the story behind these overloved and overdescribed characters has captured me. Am having fanfictioning ideas.
Wonder if it breaks the first commandment (Thou Shalt Not Out Of Character) if I save my soul and avoid writing them as Mary Sue-Gary Stu in fanfiction, to avoid breaking the second commandment (Thou Shalt Not Mary Sue). Difficult.
