Just to Get the Word Out There

Ever had the feeling that you have something to say, something you're keeping inside of you and you just want to get it out. You want it to get recognized, maybe not by millions, but at least by someone. Just someone. That way you can have some sort of retribution or assurance that what your doing isn't horrible or a waste of your time. I love to write and I really want to be an author. I've been writing a long time, but since elementary school, the only audience I have is my always excited to read mother and an occasional friend. I can't help but feel almost confined to the limited audience I have around me. Friends don't exactly find it a blast to read and don't often arrange book reading parties, at least not my friends. I just want to get my stories out there. I want feedback so I can learn and grow, I want people to enjoy my stories as I enjoyed writing them, otherwise don't you think the time spent writing it has gone in vain? I want to read others and help them as well. Although, I fear no one will read them, and it will sit there online, unnoticed by everyone as it does in the rl. 
 I will be posting my first fan fic soon, I can only hope it's a success... Please, would anyone even read the Pokemon Fan Fic I post? I'm separating it into chapters.
