(no subject)
so i was in schmitt today buying method books for some new students, a couple solo books, and a bunch of christmas books since it's about that time. as i was crouched down trying to get at some books that they mysteriously placed in an unreachable corner, someone tried to reach over me, bumped into me, and said "excuse me, can i get in here?" i moved out of the way and looked up to see...my very first piano teacher grabbing some method books for her students. she had retired a few years ago and i inherited a few of her students, but apparently due to financial needs she has taken on 26 new students within the past two years. how odd.
