the mighty ducks was just on cartoon network, and for some reason i decided to pay attention to it for the first time. and of course, i noticed some pretty big inconsistencies. for instance, if district 5 (not actually real) is supposed to be on the border of minneapolis and edina (for all the cake-eater references), why do charlie and his mom live in downtown st. paul basically overlooking rice park so they're able to go to mickey's diner for lunch and dinner? and then how does adam banks live on hennepin avenue but apparently in edina and also within rollerblading distance of the district 5 kids, who are apparently either in st. paul or somewhere in south minneapolis?
of course, then i could get into the opening scene of mighty ducks 2 in which they rollerblade over the stone arch bridge only to find themselves rollerblading through camp snoopy. uh...yeah.
