[The comm clicks on, and the message is short and sweet.]

Thank you.

[A pause.]

Who was the boy with the questions? I said I would speak with him.

[Loe is nothing if not prompt. And he always keeps his word.]

Tell me where you are and I will come meet you.

[How handy, Loe's rather close by, having been in or near the temple for the duration of the mouse invasion. Rather than respond directly, he simply goes to the dining hall, casting a glance around until he sees someone who looks like he'd fit the voice over the comms.

Hola! Loe aqui!]

You the boy?

[The one dog accompanying Loe tonight first sits at his side and then lies down by his feet. It seems wholly unconcerned with Zuko. Loe, for his part, doesn't appear to be armed at the moment. He crosses his arms over his chest, settling most of his weight onto one leg.]

Loe. You wanted your whatever it was back.

[Firebending, huh.]

Side effect of the call. It can be regained, but it takes a little time.

[Easy enough to guess what it does.]

I'm sorry you didn't have it for this. It'd have been helpful.

Crystals, yes.

[He rubs his face, thinking for a moment.]

Sort of. There are small artifacts. The metal remains of...something. We're not sure what. The crystals we use are a part of them. But they're difficult to find and I honestly haven't seen one in a few years. If you can find one, though, Eir's been able to use them to bring people's power back before.

[He sees that frown and mirrors it.]

Anywhere and everywhere. In a riverbed, buried in a garden--I even saw one embedded high in a tree trunk once.

Look everywhere. Just because I haven't seen one doesn't mean they aren't around. Truthfully, I haven't been looking all that hard for them, either.

Small.

[Loe holds up his hands to demonstrate. A little larger than those jack-mice, from the looks of things.]

Usually copper, sometimes bronze or steel. The gem isn't always visible, but if it is, you'll know it. There's no missing something that bright.

[Good heavens, just look how helpful he's being.]

Find it, bring it. Eir can do the rest, but without those crystals, we're as crippled as you.
