[Loe's been gone a couple weeks now. Most probably don't notice, but those who do are no doubt relieved by the lack of his abrasive presence.
His dogs, however, are not relieved by his absence at all. One of them is just off the road to Ardel, staring intently at the fog a few feet off. It paces back and forth, occasionally pausing to lie down and whine, its huge head on its paws. Every now and then, it makes as if to dive into the fog, but it retreats at the last moment, every time.
Has its master gone into the fog? By its behavior, you would certainly think so.]
