Saturday I took my meager money and went shopping, getting the bare necessities - bread, milk and ramen noodles. One of the tires has be getting low and I've been spending a dollar every three days or so to air it up so I stopped at the tire center to get it looked at. While killing time in the grocery store trying to make a game out of deciding which bread and noodles I wanted I got $10 cash from the in store ATM. Paid for my groceries and went back to the tire center. $10 to patch the tire and they made me sign a paper stating that they had advised me the the tire on the OTHER side was dangerous and needed to be replaced. Oh, YAY...
Fast forward to the next day: my check book and ATM card are missing. $20 to put a stop payment on any checks I didn't write that may crop up and I found out I'd neglected to grab my card out of the ATM. THEY SHREDDED MY CARD for my protection... so now I have no checks and no ATM card.
My ex's new wife is bitching about him having to pay child support (that $230 a month is my ONLY income right now).
I still have no job despite the more than 200 applications including ones as a prep cook, hotel maid and laundress I've done in the last six weeks.
But yeah, I guess it could be worse, huh?
