Actually not much happening persay. We got another 4 foot chunk of the carpet up. It's going a bit slowly cause OB is looking like the bionic bear for a day or two. We're going to attempt to do more painting this weekend. I really plan to push forward as long as it doesn't rain this weekend * knocks on his office desk* Sadly i've come to notice that .. yes white trime and baseboards might look good ackk OB don't hit meeee!!!! *duck*
We got a better estimate on getting the hardwood done. about 1200.00 for the hallway and front room. Much better than the one man person who wanted a lot more.
The semi hopeful news on the dog front is i'm calling a keesy breeder in Oregon about a baby and momma. We had been talking before as she has a 2 year old she was using for breeding that she has decided doesn't need to breed anymore and she wants her to go to ao good home. I'm thinking we won't pay more than getting her here and a tiny bit more. the momma was still weening her last set up puppies so she wouldn't be avaliable till June.. I can probably deal. She then contacted me on Wednesday morning saying that she actually had a girl left over from the mom's litter in February ( strange she didn't mention it before..) She said she's be a little smaller than normal.. which is fine Stormy was a lil girl for her breed as well. So i'm going to call her tonight. I'm hoping she would be willing to take care of the baby till June then we could get them both at the same time, but we'll see. I'm going to see if she can get pics of the baby as i'd like to see the markings. and then it ends up being how much cost ( buying from a breeder is expensive) for the two girls and then how we get them. I'm a bit leary about shipping dogs so we'll see. Personally I have no problems flying up myself if they'd let me keep the lil puppy on my lap, but I doubt that.
But i'm keeping up hope. it's be kinda neat to have a mommy and a baby in the house. Only had two dogs living with me at the same time when I was 12ish with Benji and Mighty Dog ( Yes yes I was a big Benji fan when I was younger so sue me.
and yes we will be having some sorta Pizza movie night when the front room gets finished and we get the couch... Then i'm going to take like a 4 month break from house stuff if the bear lets me;)
