Well damn
GAH!!! No Incognito is gone for another 3 weeks. Gabby is having server problems. So I've resorted to using my livejournal again (maybe this'll stop the emails on how my life is going?)
Now let me answer that question for you all in one word: SHITTY
I came *thisclose* to buying a new horse. HE WAS PERFECT. 3 year old Thoroughbred. On a racing breeding farm, but never raced because he was too slow. 16.3hh. Only been ridden a grand total of 10 days in his life. Absolutely sweetheart. Really great price. Went ahead for the vet check-turns out he had a splint on his cannon bone. Might or might not cause future problems; but honestly, I can't afford to gamble. So no new horse for Kayla. Yet.
But is that the end of my problems? Not by a longshot. Thursday the 23rd of June, I had a lesson with Ms Vicki. She had been acting odd all day (I seriously believe it was because my trainer took her to round up horses and scared the shit out of her) rearing, kicking the farrier, ect. She was incredibly aggravted when I was riding her, reared straight up and flipped over backwards. Thankfully I managed to roll, or I probably wouldn't be sitting here typing. She crushed the muscles around my thigh, but thankfully, nothing is broken.
Unfortunately, I fell so damn hard that I chipped a kidney stone (which who the hell knew I had? apparently lots of people have them and never know) But the chip landed in my urinary tract causing untold pain. Seriously, undescribable. They said labor would have been easier. I spent 4 days in the hospital while they tried to remove it. Unfortunately, they couldn't, and now I have this weird plastic thing in my kidney to keep it from swelling and I'm back to surgery on July 21st. In the mean time, nothing strenuous :( No riding whatsoever. In fact, I'm not even supposed to go get the horses myself.
