Warning- In-fucking-terminably LONG posts ahead
I suppose everybody is probably wondering what the hell I've been up to- (if they've been reading this at all,) -announcing my plans for a social life and a New Blog Order so dramatically, and then, as usual, dropping off the face of the fucking planet for another 3 months. Well, I did get the first post of that "Coming Up Next" post started- and despite my memory going fuzzy from the time elapsed since, I do plan to finish it. I even plan to take another shot at fulfilling my previously stated objectives. But, as Swearengen put so aptly, "Announcing you plans is a good way to hear God laugh."
So, now that I've wrapped up this quarter's finals and am on break again, allow me to fill you in on the latest wrenches in the works- I'll even attempt to keep the melodrama to a minimum, though I can make no promises. Much like my gallstone saga,way back in the day, I figure that if I put it all in one place, I can avoid having to repeat the details, and move on to more interesting topics.
(I'm going to split it up into a couple posts, though, because it is turning out to be recockulously long- I swear, I cannot be concise for the life of me. I think I have some kind of OCD where I get the twitches if I don't editorialize.)
(I've also decided that, for the sake of consistency across cross-posting to different systems, rather than trying to tweak relative links back to earlier articles for each post, I'm just going to refer back to the Mothership, barring the odd case that I only posted in one place.)
