MOD, are you out there?
This is a monumental occasion. The wireless has been hooked up in Wherethefuck, Newfoundland.
I like this place, despite my affectionate title for it. My bedroom window looks straight out over the water, we have cable, and my housemates and I take turns creating culinary masterpieces (spaghetti a la swedish chef --- explosive!)
The work is pretty fun, but hard; the upside is that I get to wear a big ol' orange survival suit that makes me look like an obese starfish. However, I can wear it stripped down to my waist with a black tank and it looks very bad-ass :)
A lobster nearly broke my thumb yesterday.
My hair is starting to grow out, and after a few hours in the salt spray, I can wear it in pigtails very reminiscent of Red the Fraggle.
The wind finally died today, so all the fisherman went out to the crab pots and left us stranded. Since the capelin haven't started spawning yet, today has been declared Internet and Laudry Day.
I miss you all very much, and I might be back to visit next weekend. Send me letters!!
