Seeking peace
As most of you might know, I start work now at a VERY early hour and also walk to work. During late June/early July, I took note of a Mockingbird singing at the train station every morning. Mockingbirds are RARE up here, they are a Southern species which only recently have made inroads into upstate NY..so here is the Male singing his heart out and yeah, I confirmed breeding after the female almost took a chunk of my scalp out.
