"i remember when all our plans were to meet at home"

i had the cutest "outing" ever today. there was a "50's diner" in chicopee, pretending we were mia wallace and vincent vega drinking five-dollar milkshakes, listening to velvet underground on the drive to and from, and watching night of the living dead. and he knew how sick i've been lately*, so i got home at a "decent hour ( Read more... )

Every single time I would go to my old doctor he would insist I had mono, because I was fifteen/sixteen at the time so obviously I was doing things that would lead to me getting mono.

Ha! He forgot to take into account dorkiness.

haha. my doctor probably thinks mono is the last thing i could get, cos whenever they ask me those "questions", i automatically say no to all of them. like i'd actually answer yes to any of them and subject myself to notes in my permanent file and speeches and complete embarassment. i love how doctors just assume those kinds of things about kids though, i was being asked those questions when i was TWELVE.

i wouldn't be surprised if i do have mono though, i've been exposed to it through several people (i can you assure not all of them were in that way). and it seems like the trend to get mono right before the end of senior year.

I surely hope that you do not have Mono - it is no rock and roll fun.

Wholesome is just so precious <3

SO TRUE. Mono is about as rock and roll as Jet.

I love wholesome. <3
I realized how sick I am of the same debauchery and emotionless lust that's so easy to fall into.

i hope sara feels better.

you've probably got the virus already, but if you're lucky (unlike me) you'll never get the symptoms. i've been exposed to it so many times over the past year that it wouldn't shock me to hear that i have it. but it's not something to look forward to either.

HAHA. thanks darling.

not all of them were like that, i swear. two of my best friends and like a million other kids in the schools have had it over the past year. there were a couple boys in there, who were carriers, but it's not like i made out with the entire county. yet.

but hopefully you're just a carrier, and hopefully you don't give it back to sara. (is that possible?)

i hope i don't have it either, i'd hate to miss prom. mostly cos i've spent way too much $ already to not be able to go.
even though it's not going to be half as fun cos someone i know can't be there. :\
