if i had to choose the lesser of two evils, i'd take death cab. cos postal service is really fucking cheesy, and the most overrated band i heard last year.
chickadee, totally forgot you was going, fo realz. if i'd remembered i would have looked for you and been all like "heyyyyy" and you'd be all like "heyyyyy" and shit. next time though, mhmm.
i was supposed to see him on the 15th&16th but i have the worst luck ever. so i sold one ticket after i found out i couldnt go, then i thought something happened to the other one. nothing happened, so i could still go and see him with willy mason<3 but i dont think ill be able to. wow that was a stupid comment. but anyway, im glad you saw him.
:\ :\ not a stupid comment at all, darling, i hope your luck gets better and you get there somehow so you can write all about it! you'll have so much fun ♥
i've given away/sold too many tickets and regretted it later, trust me.
dcfc was way boring live, i can't imagine tps would be much better. someone got me to almost like that "district sleeps alone tonight" song, but let's keep that on the low.
I really like that press picture of his. I hope I get to see him tomorrow. The NYU people are calling me about my financial aid, maybe, so I have to sit tight. Did he play his new stuff? How was it?
mhmm, he played stuff from his new album, and it definitely wasn't "sha sha" but i liked it nevertheless. i really wish i'd heard the new album before i'd gone cos i had no idea what any of the new songs were. i'm hoping to pick up his new cd this weekend, even though i've heard a lot of mixed opinion on it.
you'll definitely have fun though, if you get to go. promise.
ps, i'm really really hoping for you that you get a better package, let's hope those NYU people have some good news. i mean, we're already going to be in major debt just living in nyc, so i'm sure the school could be a little more generous.
i was thinking about it, i mean, my parents said we're definitely doing this, and that i'm going to dorm just freshman year (just so i'll meet people and stuff). so i was like, "damn, i really gotta make it count then, cos after that, i will NEVER EVER live in manhattan ever again! i'll never get out of the bronx, my god!"
it's just a lot of sacrifices we gotta make. i'm sure it'll be fine.
i still have to send in my deposit and stuff... are you definitely going to nyu, then? how is it working?
hmm, i'm like 98% sure i'm going to NYU. i still have to bring my parents to see the campus, so they can "approve." it's my mom who still has reservations. she for some reason thinks northeastern is a better school, and that i should go there. and she tries to spite me, so. she thinks it's impossible to live in nyc as a broke college kid, even though i remind her it happens all the time.
whatevs though, she's not really contributing financially anyways, so i'm hoping to send in my deposit asap. and once i send in the $1000 housing deposit, i know i'm definitely going there cos i know i wouldn't wanna change schools and lose that much money. i think i'm just gonna do the standard residence hall, get the "real" dorm experience. as far as aid, i'm ok with my package, i'm hoping to make up the rest in scholarships and whatnot.
it'll be tight, but it'll work. ps, glad you're trying out dorm life!
