So this is a boredom update. I cut my hair...it's short and ...mohawky again.
I've been working on Kenosis' website lately. Spencer is coming over saturday to help finish up some stuff on it. Tomorrow's the big show at Sachi's house. I'm really looking forward to it. We're going to attempt to rewrite a song hours before the show then play it sucessfully that night. ha, wish us luck.
Julie's home, that's rad. I missed her. I got to talk to her today for a while.
Real quick i want to go on a rant about someone i dont really even know...I dont know if any of you guys know him but all i have to say is FUCK Chris Lawrence. This guy is supposed to be a "christian". He puts on shows at the Crossroads in New Castle. Basically this guy E-mailed us and told us that we weren't a christian band because we weren't good enough for him. He didnt agree with our beliefs therefore...they were wrong. Apparently you're not allowed to have your own faith. That's right, Contrary to popular belief to be a REAL Christian you have to first run it past Chris Lawrence and get his approval.
This guy SERIOUSLY pisses me off. a friend of mine was trying to change his life and do something good and this guy totally just bashed him into the ground and told him he wasent good enough, and that what he believed wasent good enough. He's completely discouraged my friend, who now has given up on being christian. So i guess that's what being a good Christian is really about, telling other people that they aren't good enough. Making people believe that their faith isnt good enough. I guess Chris Lawrence is the epitome of a good Christian...wouldn't you guys agree?
I really don't know this kid. I've only interacted with him through e-mails. But lets just say if i ever run into Chris Lawrence in person it's not giong to be a pleasant experience.
Anyway, I hope to see you guys at the show tomorrow night. It's going to be fun. With all the money left over after paying the bands Sachi is going to buy a bunch of pizzas or something, so it should be a blast.
