Soooooo....been putting off trying to get my speedometer fixed on my car till ike, today. It just started to completely crap on me the end of last week. So I figure, being a stupid girl who knows nothing about cars except how to drive them, i think if I take my car to Walmart they can fix it this morning. WRONG, Midas? WRONG! apparently a broken speedometer must be fixed at a Ford dealership, so I call the only one in town---booked till Friday due to holliday shit, Fuck, damn it. Luckily I have pursuaded my gril Autumn to drive me home because she lives right by my grandma which is right by me by like 10 minutes, a short stretch of highway. I love that girl thank goodness for her or I would be trying to follow traffic in the slow lane illegaly.

Soo The Arcade Fire was SWEET. They were pretty impressive wth their multitalented members who kept switiching instruments. The Bass player looked like Napoloeon Dynomite! They coverd a Neil Young song and a Talking Heads song that made for emotional times. They played a song off their ep which i love so much, and just about every song on the a,bum very well and to a T. Godl Chains fucking rocked my ass off. I was really into their part of the show. I didnt know it was a little white girl doing some of those ryhmes, Their music is just plain fun if you havent heard it, go now and hear it!!! and dance! It was a good time, the company was excellent.

so I have been writting a lot of papers as of late, doing lots of homework, and I am still not done:( gotta ten pager due on monday meaning over the break ill be doing thatnon stop.At leatsmy mom agreed to let me use her car (sweet). Lets hope i dont fuck it up! I was on campus from 10 am to 10 pm, having 4 classes and writting a paper in between. by the time i got to my last two classes my hands were shaking and i couldnt take notes anymore. We watched Midnight Cowboy in film class and I wasnt that impressed. The cinematography was excellent and the whole scene at the Andy Warhol party, but it was hardto watch Dustin Hoffman hacking up his lung and dying the whole time. The documentary we watched was alot more intersting-- films from 1967-1977 my favorite period for films:)

So I am off the the Rowdy tonight for turkey day ( id ont even eat turkey) so as i like to call it Stuffing Day. I just want one huge bowl of stuffing and some corn bread and I will be golden. I have to go to like four places so I better find some pants with an elastci waste YAWOOZA. Have a good break- Speed Racer
