[Frances decided to let Rex think what he wished on the front of whether or not he was a baby. She is waiting, just the same, with tea cakes fresh off the fire and a kettle cooling close by. While she must speak with him about the Marquis, who paid her a visit just today, she is thinking that broaching the subject while he's affected by the flood might be...questionable, at best.]
[So, while he made some progress on the robot arm, Rex didn't really... succeed like he'd expected to. Maybe his mind really was affected by the flood more than he'd care to admit. So, after a fun-filled afternoon of SCIENCE, he heads over to her room and opens the door without knocking. It takes some effort, actually, since he's kind of tiny. BUT HE CAN STILL OPEN DOORS, OKAY.]
Hi, Frances. I don't have my robot arm yet, but it's almost finished, so I'll have it soon.
[YAY, MORE SWEETS. It doesn't help that he has a bit of a sweet tooth even as an adult. This just makes it worse. Rex takes a couple of the tea cakes and sits down.]
