Doctor, Claire, Franklin can I speak with see you?
I'm in the infirmary.
Obviously.
[And that's all he's typing, because he doesn't want to talk to the Barge :C HE JUST HAS TO MAKE IT PUBLIC FOR LACK OF FILTERS.]

TL;DR: REX IS DEATH TOLLING )
[Harper had left it a little while before coming to see Rex. At least until he was calmed down a little, but when he does come, he comes bearing gifts!]
I got something for ya. Found it in your room.
[He moves to settle into the seat at the side of Rex's bed, and hands him the rolled up piece of paper.]

Who was in my room?

[Harper gestured to the sheet of paper.]
I don't know how that made it to you. It was in an empty bottle when I found it.
[He paused then, just for a moment.]
I uh, kinda glanced over it. Just to make sure it wasn't someone threatening you.

[He looked at the paper again, running his fingers over it, then unrolled it to take a look. His brow furrowed in confusion for a moment, but his expression softened as he continued reading. When he was finished, he set it aside and looked away, saying-- well, writing-- nothing.]

How are you feeling?

Terrible.
[Glancing down at the letter, he added:]
So, you read it?

[He gives a little nod, in response to the question.]
Well... once I figured out who it was from, I kinda skimmed the rest, but yeah, I read enough. What do you think about it?

[He's not quite sure how he feels about the letter. Good things, with a mixture of longing and regret, but he can't quite define the emotions in him right now. So, instead, he frowns a little and writes something else.]
The worst part about this wasn't dying.
