*on one of the least busy corners of the Nexus, one which is even less busy at the moment because...well...big glowering undead pirates tend to put people off lingering too long - Cervantes is standing with his arms folded belligerantly, scanning any passer-by with blank eyes*

Ali just happens to be passing by that unusually unbusy corner of the Nexus, carrying a tin bucket full of cut flowers. Seeling Cervantes, she turns her path a little towards him. Plucking a bright red tulip from her bucket she smiles and offers it to him. "I hope your day gets better."

*Cervantes at first simply doesn't accept that she's addressing him, let alone offering him - in all the seven hells, offering him vegetation?! The tulip gets a look from the empty white eyes that might have withered lesser flowers, and then a variant of the same look is turned, mixed with irritable disbelief, upon the woman*

....what?

"You looked upset. I thought this might cheer you up." She tucks the stem into his lapel. "There. Much cheerier already."

*There is a single second where the sheer ludicrousness of the situation freezes him in place: and then the big icy-cold hand comes up sharply and knocks the tulip from his clothes. It lands, shedding a petal or so, between his massive armoured boots. He growls out a few words*

Do I know you, woman?
