I haven't heard back, so I've gone ahead and created the communities for Hotel California, v2.0.

Cool! At one point, I need to get the Doctor meeting everyone, especially Holmes and Watson, but for now, did you maybe want to do, uh ... Watson telling Holmes about the books in the library?

I had that problem too! LJ doesn't alert for the invitations, they just sit around in your "Manage Communities" inbox, which I found out after the fact.

I haven't even been getting notifications for comments for the past couple of months, so I've stopped relying on LJ to notify me for anything. D: But yeah, you guys are accepted now, so feel free to do whatever!

Your email provider might be one of the ones that didn't "negotiate" with LJ when they switched servers. Had that problem for a few days too.
