The Case Against Humansrsuperior66 (not to be confused with HumansRSuperior)
On October 6, 2007, larissa_j posted that a person using the name “humansrsuperior66” on YouTube is impersonating humansrsuperior and passing off her vids as his/her own. The original report can be seen here and a screencap from humansrsuperior can be seen here, with screencaps of the original vids here: 1, 2, and 3.
While investigating the matter, I discovered that the videos that were not The humansrsuperior belonged to a vidder named Lane L. Gibson, whom I reached via myspace.com/lanesvids. His response to my inquiry was the following:
Hello,
Yes those videos are mine and the person there has posted them without any permission from me nor do I even know who they are...
I left some comments at his/her site but Im sure they will be deleted...
When I contacted “humansrsuperior66”, I received the following two replies:
Oct 20, 2007, 05:08 PM: Make a decision now. Obviously you have mistaken me for who give a shit.
Oct 20, 2007, 05:24 PM: P.S. Oh BTW I have received death threats about this. Of cours I just laughed it off.
Here are screencaps of the “66’s” homepage and vids:
Homepage where s/he complains about people making “sockpuppets” to complain about the plagiarism and part 2 of that. (These “sockpuppets” are accounts people have made after 66 has blocked their user names when they complain about the vids being plagiarized.)
