Summary
On 10th April 2006, someone going by the name of Faithwills22 published the fic 'Always Will Be' on the Captive Souls Spuffy fic archive. It became apparent that this was an exact copy of Spikes Queen's fic 'Always Will Be', published on 7th January 2006 at slayerfanfic.com.
Faithwills22 also posted two other fics - 'Always Yours' on 5th July 2006 and 'Glad to see me' on 18th July 2006. These were exactly the same as two other fics by Spikes Queen (with the same titles), published on the same days.
With the first fic, it was a clear example of plagiarism. The further two instances were less clear-cut. However, this was rendered immaterial when, on 20th August, Faithwills22 contacted me, saying that she wished to contest the claim of plagiarism, since she had never written fanfiction and that she believed someone else was using her details.
I contacted andylee_baboo so that we might look further into this. After some investigation I was eventually informed by andylee_baboo that the owner of Captive Souls was convinced that Faithwills22's details had been hacked by someone else for their own purposes. Who this was, we would not be able to determine.
Unfortunately therefore, no name can be added to the List of Plagiarists as regards to the plagiarism against Spikes Queen. Faithwills22 (that is, the Faithwills22 that I have been dealing with), will be added to the Watch List, against the chance that her name should appear again.
