Decision: The case against sdfsa
On October 26th, wannareadit reported that a ff.net user had posted a story that did not belong to her with the disclaimer that she was uploading them to read on her phone.
The original story was identified with help from comments, and the original author was contacted. She expressed a wish to deal with the issue herself and did so.
The story has since been removed.
Given the wish of the author, the removal of the story and the disclaimer, we will not take further action on this matter. However, I will note that republishing without author's consent (before works have entered the public domain) is severely frowned upon not just by fandom, and can have unfortunate consequences. It can also still be plagiarism, especially if credit is not properly given.
