Case against sarcastic_kay
On August 10th, 2011, suitsmeme reported a case of plagiarism in the Suits Kink Meme where sarcastic-kay posted a story titled 'Anniversary' on the meme, this story was reported as being copied from a story in the naurto fandom on fanfiction.net and the characters name changed to fit another fandom.
As per the original post, many people did comment on the story and to sarcastic_kay directly and the story was quickly removed and the journal was been deleted. sarcastic-kay did reply to one of the comments advising that 'a friend wrote the story and asked that it be posted on sarcastic-kay 's journal as she didn't have her own.' I have been unable to contact sarcastic-kay so have been unable to substantiate the claims a 'friend' asked the story be posted.
Screen caps of both stories does show that the story by sarcastic_kay "Anniversay"was a copy of The Ride" with only the names changed to fit the 'Suits' fandom.
Sarcastic-Kay will be added to the list of known plagiarists.
