Possible plagiarism?
Today I encountered a story that might be plagiarized, but I'm not sure. I might be totally wrong, but I wanted to get a more experienced opinion about it.
There was a new story up at the ksarchive, called Pursuing James T. Kirk. The author acknowledges in the author's note that it is based on another story of FFN, Chasing Naruto.
What raised my red flags was the rest of the author's note, which said that the first chapter was basically the same as the original, and she intends to go off in a different direction. Here is a screenshot of the author's note.
I then went to check out Chasing Naruto, and found them to be extremely similar. I didn't cap all of it, just the beginning that seems to have been borrowed for Pursuing James T. Kirk. Screenshots are here, here, and here.

I apologize if I'm overreacting, but I'd rather be overcautious than let plagiarism happen. Thank you!
