The Case Against Raych
In the course of investigating a complete separate case of repeat plagiarism involving a different person, it was inadvertantly found that portions of a story posted by Raych to her page on FF.net, contained the unaltered, uncredited, shooting script from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode Surprise written by Marti Noxin. I contacted Raych regarding this and received the following reply on December 18, 2010:
This was an oversight on my part as I usually post disclaimers with stories when parts have been taken from actual episodes from shows. I shall delete this story myself and review any other stories in which parts have been used from shows to ensure I have not overlooked other disclaimers.
Shortly after, this story was removed as well as more than 20 other stories, including all BTVS fandom stories she had posted.
Raych will be placed on the list of known plagiarists.
